Just a reminder - this week's class will be held in our Class Chatter chat room here. It will start at the same time as our regular class - Thursday at 6:30 pm, but shouldn't run as long. Don't worry if you have to run a little late due to a commute, etc., we'll be there. I hope that as you are reading the end of term reports that I'm sending out today you will notice and feel a sense of accomplishment about just how much work you put into this course between all of the weekly exercises, the weekly blogging and commenting, the vitrual chat, and the group projects. You've all come so far since the beginning of the semester, and I am so impressed with the great job you all did, and you should be too. Congrats everyone!

I have created a class group in Facebook for those who have decided to create Facebook accounts for the homework assignment.  If everyone who from the class who is on the network joins, it will make friending easier.

I just want to remind everyone that Flickr is a place for you to store and share your OWN photos, so please make sure that you have the rights to what you upload. If you like someone else's photos, favorite them.

I have just added the class chats to the events calendar, so you can check them out at any time. You only have to make it to one of the online chats next week, these are the times:

If you have any difficulties with making one of these times, please message me. And it might not be a bad idea to try signing into the chatroom from whatever computer you are going to be using AHEAD of time, to make sure there are no surprises on the night of the chat :)

Some of you have expressed a concern about privacy and social bookmarking and I thought I'd address this in a blog post rather than individual comments. Although these are social websites, many social bookmarking applications do have functionality for you to bookmark privately, and del.icio.us is one of them. To enable this feature, go to Settings, look for the Bookmarks section and select Private Saving and follow the instructions. This will give you a choice when you bookmark to share your link, or keep it private.
