Acutally, I am not familiar with any 3D games or programs, and this is a new start for me. I am proud of my first avatar in secondlife. Maybe I may keep trying to a higher level. Still, I want to post my first avatar here, though it is really entry-level.

Well, what could i say about virtual world technology?  I guess it holds a place in the cyber industry and I understand how libraries could actually utilize it's featurs to provide online resource to its patrons, but the technology is just not for me.  And I agree with Ellyssa, there is definitely a learning curve involved, but I don't feel challenged by it.  What really concerns me with some of the nuances of the web 2.0 environment is that it inadvertently allows society to become detached from the intamacy of interacting in a social setting.  The actul engaging in facial expression and
