looking for blogs to add to those feed readers? here is a list of PCMag's top 100...i personally enjoy the strange maps blog, which unfortunately does not have a feed, but will nevertheless be enjoyable for all those cartographic connoisseurs out there!

I just noticed that clicking the orange RSS logo in the address bar of Firefox often allows you to choose between more than one subscription. For example, "Tame The Web" offers 2 : the first option prompts "subscripe to Atom," and the feed preview only shows links to the blog entry titles, while the second prompt, "Subscribe to RSS 2.0," gives a screenshot of what the actual blog entry looks like.
Did anyone else notice this?
When I write on a blog and look at them a day or two later, I see a few grammar or spelling errors I didn't see the first time I wrote it. I was wondering if it is ok to edit these setences if it doesn't change what I am writing about in the blog. Late at night, I get into the mood to write, but my brian is not fully aware of some of the little errors I could make.
After a week of looking at various library and archivist blogs, I'm not sure how I feel about them. I feel like the proverbial kid in a candy shop, with too many choices. I find myself having to change my way of processing information, doing so in short bursts rather than at a leisurely pace. It's a bit exhausting!
What I do like is the inventiveness of some of the blogs, and the creativity, even when they don't say much.
I've enjoyed looking at some of the different library blogs. There is some neat stuff going on out there. I however thought I'd share my favorite site to read blogs about archives.. oddly enough it's called ArchivesBlogs!
Has anyone noticed any new terminology or slang develope due to the increasing use of blogs?
In all of the reading for this week, there was a trmendous amount of statistics for various blogging/blogger activities. However, I noticed that the report did not mention language development. I know alot of the slang used online has been around for some time, while other terms have come about only in recent years due to an increase in text-messaging (INBD=It's No Big Deal, etc.).
