I've visited the LibraryThing website a while ago and liked the concept, but didn't open up an account until this week. The reason for that is that after moving abroad twice in the past few years my book collection has become so small that there is really no need to catalog it.

I've been using Facebook for a couple of mounths now to stay in touch with friends in the States and Germany. What I like best about Facebook is that I can see my friends' streams on my homepage in real-time. This way, I can follow what is happening with them very easily.
