Since my wife is originally from Indonesia, I decided to create a wiki for Indonesians who have moved to Southern California: http://indonesia-socal.wetpaint.com/
I tried to "seed" the wiki rather than fill it with comprehensive information, and to make it inviting for other people to contribute even though it's initially based on my wife's and my experiences.

I've got some in the Valley and some in West L.A. But maybe if they go on a drive, they can try out the outdoor market you posted--sounds fun!
