Ann Arbor District Library is one of the earliest adopters of Web 2.0. Their very attractive website is using Drupal, the same software that LIBR 246-11 is using (the one you're reading on). They use blogs where they can. For example, the home page is a collection of the latest posts from their various blogs - community, exhibits, books, audio, and etc. You could subscribe to the home page or just the individual blogs. Their catalog page displays user generated data (a.k.a web 2.0): top 10 tags, latest user reviews, hottest books checked out, and short reviews of spotlighted books. All blogs on the site are open to comments and they use tags everywhere. If a tag caught your interest, it's very easy to get all information with that tag. This is just few of the neat features on the site, not to mention they provide a link to the Google Translator to read the site in a different language! It's packed with information yet it's easy to navigate and pleasing to the eye.
