"What types of resources would you suggest creating utilizing a wiki as opposed to a blog?"

Situation:

The librarians at X Library have a blog. They are writing regularly about best practices for new librarians and their blog is being read by library schools and others interest in new librarians and training.

Before the librarians create their weekly blog they use a wiki. The wiki is perfect for this as everyone can:

1. decide on the topic of the week and

2. write about it

After this they can have one person combine the ideas into one cohesive piece of writing and post it on the blog.

The wiki is used first and then the blog.

When the blog gets a comment from somebody, the group from X library can discuss how to answer it on their wiki.
