As a brief update to my end user review, I experimented with rebuilding this Wetpaint wiki as a Google Sites Wiki.Though I was really pleased with this Wetpaint wiki, I wanted better organization and navigation options and more bells and whistles without sacrificing too much ease-of-use.

What types of wiki implementations do you think would be particularly effective for your/a library or organization

This week I chose to review examples of three hosted wikis and compare features/functionality from the end user/reader rather than an author/creator perspective. Each of the examples reviewed used different wiki software and were reviewed for ease of navigation, organization and ease of editing.

I couldn't resist answering this question, as we just finished Battlestar Galactica and this assignment gives me an opportunity to (finally) see what fans have been saying about the show while doing homework! How cool is that?

This Wetpaint wiki I created is an example of a space that Ready-To-Read Volunteers and Children's Librarians could use to easily collaborate and share ideas and resources for storytimes that we are developing. I have been preparing and presenting storytimes representing my local public library for a year now and have always thought how nice it would be to collaborate with others in a virtual space where resources and storytime plans that can inspire a perfect storytime are easily accessible.

I had gardening content.  Those of you who have seen my libguide at mylibrary.us may recognize some of it.  Here's the link, but I'm not totally sure if that's going to work. I've created a wiki on the German writer Erich Maria Remarque. I copied the content from a pathfinder which I did on Remarque for my Libr210 Reference Services course last semester.
