The San Francisco Public Library’s Teen Blog, Dropbox (http://67.115.155.34/teen_blog/), is an excellent example of a fun, teen-oriented library blog. The cool background is integrated with useful resources, such as links to a dictionary, encyclopedia, and calculator, as well as pages dedicated to events, book recommendations, and career, homework, and SAT assistance.
library blog
Wyoming? Wy not?
Tried to find some public libraries in Wyoming with active blogs, but came up empty. A handful had started some, but latest entries were 2006, 2007, etc.--sad, really.
So I expanded the search to academic libraries and went to my ol' undergrad school, the University of Wyoming in Laramie. Mind you, the last time I set foot there was back in the days when Molly Ringwald and Andrew McCarthy could open a movie. Nevertheless, decided to look UW up--and was very pleasantly surprised!
The trials and tribulations of Jenna's quest to find a library blog
After having some issues just determining what an organizational blog is I went to the blogging library wiki and perused the links there. I explored the academic library blogs, but saw that the blogs posted on many had no comments on them, which suggested to me that blog was not getting a lot of traffic. I was also looking for blogs that had images uploaded and were colorful.
