I'm a bit of a dabbler - I have many varied interests and not enough time to pursue them all. I guess that's why I have my BA in Liberal Studies - it's kind of a mix of everything. It's also why I'm pursuing my MLIS... you get to encounter so many different things and interact with so many different people. The possibilities are endless.

When not at work or doing homework I can most likely be found reading, drawing, writing, gardening, cooking or surfing the web. I'm a bit of a compulsive reader, and have actaully taken up walking to work (I only live a couple blocks from work) so that I can read on the way. I guess it's a bit absurd, but so is driving a car that same distance.

I'm extremely intrigued by storytelling, and how that plays into humanity's search for meaning. Most of what I read lately (that doesn't deal with school) has to do with this in some way or another.

I would like to someday contribute to this phenomena and publish a story of my own... though with school this will have to wait quite a while.
